THE LONG DISTANCE WALKERS-HANDBOOK

Now in its seventh edition the directory has been fully updated throughout. Well over 600 main walks are covered - many new routes and linking walks have been added and the regional maps expanded. Each walk has a summary describing its distinctive features, details of start and finish points and the waymarking used. All routes list appropriate Ordnance Survey Landranger and 1:25,000 maps; the sources for publications required to follow the walk, along with contact details of relevant information providers.
